TRUMP ATTACKS EX-STAFFER AFTER SHE RELEASES EXPLOSIVE TAPES

FORMER APPRENTICE CONTESTANT Omarosa Manigault-newman has been slammed on Twitter by President Donald Trump after publicly releasing tapes of private conversations she had in the White House. The first involves chief-of-staff John Kelly telling her that if she leaves quietly, she could “go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to [her] reputation”.

The interpreted threat was followed by the release of a confidential phone call she had with Trump a day after her employment was terminated. “General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave,” Manigault-newman says in the recording, with Trump replying: “Nobody even told me about it—i didn’t know that.”

White House officials are now reportedly fearful she has more tapes to release, including some that could cause damage to the president. Trump took to social media to call out his ex-employee: “Wacky Omarosa—never made it, never will,” Trump wrote. “I know it’s ‘not presidential’ to take on a lowlife like Omarosa.” •
