The 31-year-old is back on the run as Chelsea in Season 3 of Wanted (starts Mon., Oct. 15 at 8.30pm; Seven).
What can we expect from the new season?
Lots of action and amazing locations, which is one of the best things – I get to see parts of Australia I have never been to before. Chelsea and Lola [played by Rebecca Gibney] find themselves in prison to start with, and end up in witness protection and on the run again. What’s different this time is we are forced to help other people, so we’ve got a bit of a vigilante mission.
What is it like working with Rebecca Gibney?
We have gotten really close filming this show because it’s often just the two of us. She is a really generous person and really looks after the cast and the crew. When we shoot late into the night and everyone is tired, Bec and I hang out with everyone and sing and tell jokes. Those are my favourite moments.
The role is very physically demanding. Do you do your own stunts?
Anything I can do myself, I love to do, but anything that’s going to be too dangerous, I leave the stunt person to do it – they are very well trained. But it’s often driving stuff. Bec has great driving sequences and she is such a hoon! One thing not many people know about Rebecca Gibney is that she is a demon behind the wheel.
Any plans to head to the US for work?
I would love to shoot something overseas but I am so busy and very happy with what I’m doing here. And my dog would never forgive me.
