BRAD & ANGELINA Inside their single lives
How the former Hollywood ‘It’ couple are making it work
Almost three years after Brad Pitt, 55, and Angelina Jolie, 44, called it quits, the former couple finally seem to be settled -in their single lives. After a lengthy and often acrimonious divorce process and nasty custody battle over their six children – Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 10-yearold twins Knox and Vivienne – the two “are getting along better,” a source tells WHO. “There is definitely less drama. Both parents are focused on what’s best for the kids.”
Less time tangled with each other means both A-listers can begin planning for the future, in
both their professional and personal lives.
Jolie, who has spent the past few years honing her skills as a director, executive producer and continuing her advocacy work (she recently signed on as a contributing editor for Time magazine), is reinvigorating her acting career filming the thriller Those Who Wish Me Dead in New Mexico. “Angelina has been trying to spend as much time with her children as possible while working gruelling 12-hour days on-set in Albuquerque,” a source told Us Weekly. “She dotes on the younger ones a lot.”
A visitation schedule was explicitly created for the situation with the children flying back to stay with their father in Los Angeles.
“All is well. The kids are happy, which makes them both happy,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s no more conflict behind the scenes.”
Up next, Jolie is set to appear in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in October and further ahead, will join the Marvel Universe in the upcoming The Eternals, co-starring Richard Madden and, according to website MCU Cosmic, possibly Keanu Reeves, 54.
Star Magazine took the talk further, claiming Jolie had her sights set on Reeves romantically – and she had a mutual friend set them up on a date. “She hasn’t been this excited about a man since she first met Brad,” the magazine reports the source as saying. The two first met in 2017 when Jolie bought a house in the Los Feliz neighbourhood, where Reeves’ mother, Patricia, lives. “They found they have a lot in common, and the attraction was definitely there.”
However, Reeves’ rep told Gossip Cop that the story is “completely false” and Reeves’ pal and frequent co-star Sandra Bullock weighed in on whether she would ever set up the notoriously private star with a famous friend: “He doesn’t need anybody’s help!” Bullock told Entertainment Tonight on June 15. “Nope. He’s good.” Meanwhile, Pitt, who has been linked to Charlize Theron, MIT professor Neri Oxman and even his ex Jennifer Aniston, “is dating, but he’s a free spirit when it comes to dating,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s enjoying himself, nothing serious.” Most of all, a source tells WHO, “he seems happy to focus on himself and his kids”.
