Sam and Snez Wood welcome a ‘drop from heaven’ daughter into their Bachelor brood
THEY MET AND FELL IN LOVE IN front of a national audience, so when welcoming their second child, Sam and Snezana Wood were happy to share their baby bliss with fans who have followed their journey since Season 3 of The Bachelor.
“Yesterday on the birthday of my Mum we welcomed Charlie Lane Wood,” Sam, 39, wrote on Instagram on July 24. “There were tears, Snezana you are my everything and my love and admiration for you somehow only grows stronger. The last 30 hours have been magical.”
The pair, who already share daughter Willow, 1, and 14-year-old Eve from Snez’s previous relationship, announced they were expecting their second baby together just three months after they tied the knot in Byron Bay in November 2018. “We wanted to
get married and have kids, and two weeks after our wedding Snez said she had cravings for pickles and was feeling sick and we thought maybe she was pregnant,” Sam told WHO in February. “But we were like, ‘No, it couldn’t happen that quick!’” Speaking about how Snez broke the news, Sam said: “She walked into the room with a pregnancy test and started laughing at me, and I just knew!”
Trusting his instincts has served Sam well, especially in adjusting to becoming an instant father figure to Eve after giving Snez his final rose in 2015. “She’s definitely my daughter, but we’re also friends,” says the Melbourne-based fitness creator. “And we get closer all the time.”
Their new bub is “another beautiful little girl to drive Daddy crazy,” posted Snez, 38. “Charlie Lane Wood, you are a little drop from heaven.”
