TENSIONS ARE STILL RIFE AS THE ROYAL FAMILY PUTS ON A STOIC SHOW
THE ROYAL FAMILY PUT ON A brave face for the Remembrance Day commemorations in London amid renewed speculation the monarchy is being torn apart by in-house feuds.
Just the day after they made their first public appearance together in months, famous foursome, Meghan, Harry, Kate and William attended the Sunday event.
The young royals looked sombre as they accompanied the Queen and other members of the royal family to the emotional service at the Cenotaph.
Meghan sported a belted black coat with a wide-brimmed hat while Kate wore a sleek black coat with military-style embellishments and a veiled hat.
At one stage, the emotional monarch wiped a tear from her cheek as she, Kate and Camilla watched from a balcony as Prince Charles lay a wreath.
Meghan, meanwhile, seemed uneasy and cut a lonely figure as she was relegated to a separate balcony, alongside the Queen’s daughter-in-law, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Tim Laurence, Princess Anne’s husband.
The day before the ceremony, the princes and their wives attended the Festival of Remembrance service at Royal Albert Hall, their first joint engagement in front of cameras since July.
Palace insiders revealed that William had been furious with his brother for complaining about the media on his recent trip to Africa. Harry also said that he and William were on “different paths” and that “we have good days and we have bad days”.
At the service, Kate wore a $50 poppy brooch to honour her codebreaker grandmother, Valerie, who worked at Bletchley Park where the Nazis’ complex Enigma machine code was deciphered during World War II, saving millions of lives.
After Sunday’s ceremony, there was feverish speculation that the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant. In recent weeks, she has been wearing the same maternity clothes she wore while she was pregnant with Archie.
