The married star was dealing with more than a hangover the next day
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE HAS FOUND himself in hot water after a night out in New Orleans. In town to film the American football movie Palmer, the ‘SexyBack’ singer, 38, was out drinking with cast and crew when he was spotted around midnight on November 21 on the balcony of hot spot Absinthe House.
A video and photos show Timberlake, who’s been married to actress Jessica Biel, 37, since 2012 (the couple are parents to 4-year-old son Silas), looking unsteady on his feet and getting suspiciously cosy with actress and co-star Alisha Wainwright, 30.
“They were smiling and laughing,” a source told UK’s The Sun, which first published the images. “At one stage, he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg. Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands.”
Over the weekend, the star was snapped without his wedding ring, but the interactions were “completely innocent”, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells WHO.
“It’s a balcony with a group of people. The video may look a [certain] way, but it was nothing. Like, come on, they’re on an open balcony and he’s famous. It was nothing.” Wainwright’s representative also said there is no validity to the speculation.
The pair, a source tells Us Weekly are close but platonic: “They are like brother and sister. They are definitely not hooking up. She has been dating an actor who lives in LA.”
Recently Timberlake opened up about his unbreakable bond with Biel.
“Once you find that person, it’s like a baptism, where you’re like, ‘I can’t go back,’” he told Entertainment Tonight in October. Still, nothing comes easy. Asked about the secret to their relationship last year, Biel was blunt: “Being devoted to the relationship is our biggest priority.” •
