Congratulations on your recent
Survivor win. The series is now up for an AACTA Award for Best Reality Series – what was the best part of the experience? The friendships I made were probably the best bit. You go through so much together you really make friends for life.
Was it difficult to be away from your children? It was so hard. I actually felt a physical pain in my chest from missing them. Winning a phone call home was amazing though, it really gave me the strength I needed to push forward and fight for the win.
It seems like a very vulnerable experience? It was, because you are so exposed and raw out there.
Sure, the first week or two you may be aware of the camera, but after that, it falls away and you are hungry and exhausted and fighting to win, so it’s really a raw and ruthless version of yourself that is exposed out there, which is super confronting.
What is your beauty routine like? I’m a skincare lover. I love moisture and I love a mud mask. My mum always taught me to cleanse and moisturise before bed and I’ve never missed a day.
Do you have any treatments that you like to get done? I love to get an oxygen facial and a light peel occasionally.
What beauty advice will you pass on to your children?
I’ve already taught my kids the importance of washing and moisturising their face before bed. What do you do to treat yourself when you get some time off?
I love to do yoga or some F45 for some torture and fun. A bubble bath with essential oils and candles is something I love or just some quality time with the kids. How will you spend Christmas this year? We are going to Disneyland because I promised the kids I would take them if I won.
