The 2018 Shaw Wines Sparkling Cuvee is made from 100 per cent semillon and is crafted to create a sparkling with an exciting fresh acidity backing the intensity of the fruit. They use the traditiona­l method (as used in champagne) which ensures a delicate fine mousse that gently explodes on the palate. Ripe raspberry and strawberry from pinot grapes and crisp apple from the chardonnay combine with biscuit and brioche and creaminess on the palate. $39.99

Petaluma Croser Vintage Available nationwide Pink champagne, technicall­y called rosé champagne, uses the natural pigmentati­on from red grapes to add color to the finished product. This Moet Rosé Imperial is a vibrant pink in colour. It is intense yet irresistib­le, a lively bouquet of fresh red summer berries with floral nuances and a light peppery touch.
