BLAKE’S RUNWAY Her red carpet return
The red carpet favourite makes a triumphant return to the spotlight after welcoming baby No. 3
Red carpet queen Blake Lively is known for turning her press tours into runway shows, and last week she paraded no less than six stunning outfits in 24 hours as she hit the promotional circuit in New York for her gritty new film, The Rhythm Section.
Taking a break from maternity leave after the birth of her third child, the stylish actress went for a vintage vibe with bold trench coats, leather gloves and high lace-up boots. In between having her second daughter Inez and falling pregnant with her and husband Ryan Reynolds’ third child, Lively found time to film the thriller, which sees a grieving woman go down a violent path of retribution.
But since filming wrapped on the movie, Lively has been preoccupied with her chaotic household. “It’s like going from two to 3000,” the 32-year-old actress told Good Morning America. “We have so many children. It’s pretty [crazy].”

For her role in The Rhythm Section, Lively underwent a drastic make-under. She also revealed the espionage thriller was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done”. Lively injured herself in late 2017 and shut down production for six months. “We were doing all of our own stunts, and there’s, like, one-shot fight sequences, which is how I shattered my hand,” she says. “I was lunging towards [co-star] Jude Law with my fake rubber knife and my hand collided with his elbow and I broke some things …”
