A graffiti artist and a gym have collaborated, and I am loving the end result! Studies show that the right music can increase your performance in the gym, so King Beats Fitness decided to create a unique concept where music drives the motivation and the workouts.

Walking into King Beats, I was blown away by the amazing graffiti art by artists @sofles and @mattybro_art. The art, being one of the main focuses of the gym, is to inspire and motivate people while they work out. Along with a soundtrack courtesy of live DJs and curated KB radio, I knew my workout was about to hit an all-time high.

My colleague and I embarked on a 30-minute ‘Greatest Hits’ workout, a highintensity interval training (HIIT) session using body and light weights.

King Beats offers a wide range of classes from Beat boxing, which is a cardio-based workout, to Encore, defining your midsection, plus many more.

If group training isn’t your jam, the gym is also open 24 hours, so you can use the equipment to best suit you with no classes required.

If you’re like me and time is of the essence, incorporating the gym into your daily routine can be a little tough. King Beats offers the time-saving convenience of a stylish and chic bathroom – complete with the new Dyson hair dryer (!!) – where you can shower, prep and pamper in style. I knew this would be a perfect addition to my 9-5 work week.

King Beats believe the environment you train in is as important as the training itself. After experiencing this awesome new gym, I can only agree.
