Congratulations on your role with Aveda. What do you love about the brand? Aveda’s company philosophy is incredible. Their commitment to leaving the planet in a better place is intrinsic to the brand and one of the main reasons I wanted to work with them.
Do you ever think you would change your hair colour? I am blonde for life!
How would you describe your hair colour? Natural, creamy blonde that goes a bit lighter after a summer spent out in the sunshine.
How do you keep your hair healthy? With all of the travel, styling and swimming I do, my hair takes a beating. I use Aveda’s Damage Remedy products to repair and rehydrate. My hair loves them.
You’re in the water a lot, does that dry your hair out? Definitely. I make sure I get a hydrating salon treatment when I can, especially in summer. Have you learnt how to perfect a blow dry, or do you like to leave that to the professionals? When I am home and not working I like to let my hair dry naturally. I tend to leave the blow drying to the professionals!
Are natural beauty products important to you? Very. Making more eco-conscious choices is a priority for me in all areas of my life. I’m proud to work with a company like Aveda, who are giving consumers the option to make better choices for our environment.
You have been open about your skin battles on social media. Is it important for you to share a ‘real’ version of yourself with your fans? Absolutely. I have always tried to be raw and show the good, the bad and the inbetween. I think it is important for young women to realise that everyone has their own challenges. We must be realistic with the example we set.
