WALK THIS WAY
Simpson hits the pavement every single day with her 14,000 step goal in mind. “It’s a social thing that she can do with her kids,” Pasternak says.
EAT WELL, LIVE WELL
Simpson followed Pasternak’s Body Reset Diet, which allows for three meals and two snacks each day. Each meal includes protein, fibre and fat, while snacks are a combo of protein and fibre or protein and fat.
MIX IT UP
After getting her stamina back up through walking, Jessica then hit the gym to complete 45-minute sessions three days a week, targeting different muscle groups in each session.
SWITCH OFF
Along with eating well and exercising, Pasternak asked Simpson to unplug from all technology for at least an hour a day to help her unwind.
HIT THE SACK
Logging at least seven hours sleep was an integral part of Simpson’s slim down. “So many people undervalue the importance of sleep in … weight management,” Pasternak explains.
