They’ve been isolating at their holiday home in Montana since March, and it seems in those short few months since fans last saw Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, they’ve been able to hide a very big secret – a new baby!
The couple recently became parents for the second time, welcoming another baby boy into the world last week. Timberlake, 39, and Biel, 38, who already share 5-year-old Silas Randall, are said to be currently holed up with the newborn and his brother at their Big Sky property.
Thanks to the pandemic and some strategic social media posting, the pair were able to keep their ‘top secret’ pregnancy under wraps all these months. Both have been using throwback pics on their Instagrams, with Biel’s stomach last seen covered up in a March 3 post for her birthday.
The news only surfaced after Biel’s mother, Kimberly, who’s been staying with the stars, confirmed she had a new grandson to a friend, who then told The Daily Mail.
Their new arrival comes just eight months after the singer was caught getting close with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright in a New Orleans bar back in November. Timberlake, who was not wearing his wedding ring at the time, was pictured holding Wainwright’s hand during an alcohol-fuelled night out, with the 31-yearold then seen placing her hand on his leg.
The singer later took to Instagram to publicly apologise to his wife for the indiscretion. “I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my co-star,” he insisted. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I want to apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”
While she’s still yet to comment publicly about the incident, Biel obviously accepted her husband’s heartfelt mea culpa at the time.
On Valentine’s Day, she posted a sweet photo of Timberlake with their son. “My valentines,” she shared of the pair. “Love you guys to the [moon].”
Months later on May 10, Biel posted another family snap. “These two people make being a momma the greatest job in the whole world!” the actress gushed. “The moments spent with you are truly the most precious and funniest and glorious times of my life. I love you both so much.”
A sibling for Silas has been on the cards for quite some time. Last year, in an interview with OK! magazine, Biel opened up about having more kids. “Babies are crazy and hectic. But, yeah. I think if it happened to us, it would be great,” she shared. “I mean, we’re working on it. We’re having a good time.”
And while last year’s scandal was a difficult time for the pair, it seems their newest addition has helped them to heal.
“They took time to reconnect, spending much-needed quality time together,” a source explained to Entertainment Weekly. “Justin and Jessica love one another very much and weren’t going to let this come between them.”
