PLAN THE DRIVE
The best part of a road trip is getting off the beaten track to discover the small towns and communities along the way. Take some time to research your route and make a list of all the recommended food outlets, shops, cafes and tourist lookouts. This is your chance to give back to the regional areas which have been impacted heavily throughout 2020.
CAR CHECKLIST
Before you set off on your big adventure you should conduct some basic checks on your vehicle, such as:
• Check your tyres and ensure they are inflated and have enough tread.
• Check all lights and wipers are working.
• Check your spare wheel and ensure you have all the correct tools (should you need them!).
• Pack a first-aid kit with hand sanitiser.
• Pack extra water.
• Create a road-trip playlist.

Check your policy to ensure it covers the extra cargo you’ll be carrying on your road trip.
