BABY SURPRISE
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are parents! The Game of Thrones star, 24, and her singer husband, 30, have welcomed a little girl they have named Willa.
“[Sophie and Joe] are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” a statement to People, WHO’s sister publication, confirmed.
And it seems the little one got a shout-out from Jonas’ ex, Taylor Swift, on her surprise eighth studio album, folklore, this week.
Eagled-eyed fans were quick to conclude that she’s referencing the bub in her track, ‘Invisible String’, with the lyrics: “Cold was the steel of my axe to grind / For the boys who broke my heart / Now I send their babies presents.”
And this isn’t the only hidden message in her new album. You can read about the strongest theories on page 18. One of the wildest theories gathering speed suggests that Swift herself is expecting her first child.
She earlier revealed that she had left Easter eggs in her lyrics, so fans were quick to latch on to the lyrics for ‘Peace’ where Swift sings “give you my wild, give you my child” leading them to believe she is pregnant to her partner of three years, Joe Alwyn.
In the music video for her single ‘Cardigan’ the b key is missing from her piano – with fans believing the b stands for baby – and the singer wears a loose, flowing gown (although there is barely more than a food baby visible!).
Swift has been notoriously private about her relationship with Alwyn, so it’s unlikely she’ll confirm or deny the rumours. Only time – and a blooming bump – will tell if Swifty is the latest celebrity to join the lockdown baby boom.
