HARRY AND OLIVIA’S SOLID LOVE

Casually dressed in shorts with a pink jumper and backwards white baseball cap, Harry Styles enjoyed a cosy lunch date with Olivia Wilde in London on June 3. “They looked incredibly cute together,” an onlooker told Entertainment Tonight. “They were both in a great mood and left the restaurant holding hands. Harry put his arm around Olivia as they walked back to her house.”
Since they were first spotted holding hands at a wedding in January, the pair have been keeping their love low-key while building their relationship into something solid. Having met while working together on the upcoming movie Don’t Worry Darling, they’ve spent their time together since finishing the film in the UK – where Styles is filming his new film My Policeman. “They’re able to unwind, relax and really enjoy some one-on-one time,” says the ET source. “Their idea of a good time is going for a long walk and ducking into a neighbourhood pub.” Adds a second insider, “Harry and Olivia have been inseparable.”
Director and actress Wilde cast Styles in Don’t Worry Darling in September 2020, replacing former lead actor Shia LaBeouf. “Their chemistry was very obvious,” an insider told WHO’s sister publication People magazine, adding that their friendship “quickly turned romantic”.
Speaking to Vogue magazine about her choice to cast Styles, 27, as part of the former One Direction singer’s December cover story, Wilde, 37, already seemed smitten. “To me, he’s very modern,” she gushed. “It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.”
A source close to Wilde previously told People magazine that Wilde had an amicable split from her fiancé Jason Sudeikis – with whom she shares son Otis, 7, and daughter Daisy, 4 – months before she met Styles, but many sources close to Sudeikis have disputed that time line. “Olivia called off the engagement in early November, but only after she had already gotten close to Harry,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Whether Harry knows it or not, he was a reason for the split, and it blindsided Jason.”
Currently, Sudeikis, 45, is also in London filming the new season of his Apple TV Plus comedy Ted Lasso, and the exes have been sharing custody of the kids. Although in February it was rumoured that Sudeikis had been casually dating British model and his former Horrible Bosses 2 co-star Keeley Hazell, sources insist he’s still saying he isn’t ready to move on from Wilde. “Jason is still heartbroken about Olivia and Harry’s relationship,” a source told Page Six. “They’re going from strength to strength, and he’s still massively upset and, to be honest, is still a little angry.”
