HAS ANOTHER HANDSOME BACHELOR CAUGHT THE EYE OF THE SINGER?
She was only recently spotted out with rapper Skepta, but rumour has it Adele has a new man in her life! The singer, 33, made a rare public appearance on July 17 at Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Arizona. And while fans were excited to see the star out and about, it was her date that set tongues wagging – with sports super-agent Rich Paul, 39, seen sitting by Adele’s side during the game.
Despite keeping her lovelife on the down low since her split with husband Simon Konecki, 47, back in 2019, the star didn’t seem to mind getting close with Paul while sitting courtside – with a fan even spotting the pair backstage together after the game. Although they are yet to confirm the romance, ESPN announcer Brian Windhorst certainly drummed up the dating rumours after declaring on his late-night podcast following the game that the pair were definitely an item.
“Rich Paul brings his girlfriend to the game sitting next to LeBron [James]. His girlfriend is Adele,” Windhorst said on his The Lowe Post podcast. “Rich Paul is at the game with Adele … This is the first time they’ve come out in public together.” The pair’s courtside date comes just weeks after a profile piece in The New Yorker hinted at Paul’s romance with a “major pop star”, who had been spending time at his Beverly Hills home. Paul, who was last linked to actor Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer, is one of the NBA’s top sports agents and is worth an estimated $62 million. His high-profile clients include basketball legend James and Aussie export Ben Simmons, and last year Paul made Forbes’ list of the world’s top 10 most powerful sports agents.

While Adele and Paul seemed quite enamoured with each other, happily chatting for much of the game, he’s not the only man the singer has been spotted out with lately. As WHO magazine previously reported, the singer was seen shopping with rumoured beau Skepta at a discount outlet in San Bernardino, California, earlier this month. The pair were seen browsing at a Prada outlet in the mall, with Adele watching on as the British rapper tried on a number of outfits.
Although Adele labelled herself a “single cat lady” late last year, it seems the tides have turned in the dating department. But insiders insist, while the singer has been enjoying the single life, she’s still very much focused on her career. “Adele has been very busy focusing on herself this past year,” a source told Entertainment Tonight last month. “She’s spent months in the studio recording her new album.”
