Tell us more about your involvement with the latest Bonds campaign …

I’m really excited to be the new face of this campaign. As someone with PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome], I love to raise advocacy for women’s menstrual health. Growing up in a small town, we never had a Bonds store, but once I started travelling interstate, it would be one of my first stops. It’s a full-circle moment being the poster girl now.

What makes you feel your most confident, comfortable self?

Having my Bonds Period Underwear in my arsenal has been the best confidence booster, especially during that time of the month. I feel like I can wear whatever I want, especially my favourite silky pyjamas without the worry.

Your Sunday series on Instagram highlights popular fashion brands for larger sizes. What made you start it?

It all started because so often I would be wearing an outfit out and women would compliment me about what I was wearing. I would mention where I got it from and the reaction would always be a surprise to them. It made me realise that a lot of women are missing out because they can’t see themselves reflected in popular brands. Being in the industry for 12-plus years, I know from experience how non-inclusion can affect our mental health, so I started the series so women can see themselves in clothes they’ve never considered. The reaction and support has been overwhelming and it truly warms my heart knowing I might be making a difference.

Where are your favourite places to shop?

I shop online a lot because many fashion brands don’t stock over a size 14 in store. I always find some solid pieces on ASOS and, of course, Bonds for my underwear. I generally use social media to help me find stores, either outside of the country or within it, that perhaps I had overlooked or are now stocking my size.

What’s one fashion item you can’t live without?

Period underwear and a figure hugging, loud (patterned or coloured) pair of pants. These two items in your wardrobe will give you buckets of confidence.
