Friends of Sylvia Jeffreys have revealed the Today star is so concerned about the media circus surrounding her brother-in-law-to-be Karl Stefanovic that she’s banned his new girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough from her and Peter Stefanovic’s wedding day.

While Karl is said to be “very disappointed”, our insiders reveal Jasmine is determined to not let the decision cause a rift between the normally tight-knit family.

“Jasmine was very excited to see them say ‘I do’ and finally get to meet all of Karl’s family,” says our source. “But she also doesn’t want to take anything away from Sylvia and Peter’s big day. She completely understands.”
