THE ANIMAL WHISPERER

Amanda De Warren speaks to Heather’s horse Missy

-

AMANDA SAYS: I try to connect to Missy, but another horse comes through first. He is very strong-willed and a bit naughty. I had to shut him out or he would have taken over the whole reading!

Missy tells me she’s about 26 years old and that she was a winner in events many years ago. She was a bit neglected by her previous owners and is so glad to be with Heather as she knows she’s loved. Missy says she has a lot of old injuries in her legs, but she’s recovering well thanks to the good nutrition, massage and ointments Heather has given her. She is not ready to leave as she is enjoying her life. Missy also shows me the other horses respect her. Missy tells Heather she’s now in a good place both physically and emotionally, but knows her legs will never be 100 per cent again. Her knee is calcified and she’s had a few tummy problems in the past. Missy understands what Heather has done for her and is so grateful. She feels a little bit of discomfort at times but is not in any real pain.

HEATHER SAYS: I reached out to Amanda as I’d heard so many positive things about her. I was interested in hearing from my aged mare as to whether she was happy and relatively comfortable, as she’s had some issues with one of her knees. I was glad Amanda picked up on her problem. Hearing Missy feels respected by the other horses was something I didn’t expect! I was very pleased with the reading.
