What’s up with George the horse?

George comes through and tells me he’s being trained for dressage and jumping, and that he is very keen to give his heart and soul to this. George is a big sook and says is sorry for rearing up during events and at the beach. He tells me it’s just nervous energy and that he would never hurt his owner.

George is the boss of the paddock but he really loves the other horses. He gets very upset if they leave without him, because he wants to go, too! He says it was love at first sight for him and Reema’s daughter and that he has been with the family for about four years.

Reema’s father-in-law comes through with two German shepherds called Bear and Jess. An old horse who passed from mobility problems comes through, too. He could not be ridden but was in the family for a very long time.

I reached out to Amanda because I wanted to find out why George was being a bit naughty and rearing up. We’re training him for dressage and jumping, so I was worried for my daughter’s safety. I was blown away when she mentioned George’s behaviours that I hadn’t mentioned. One of the most profound moments in the reading was when she told me about the cat I owned years ago, before I had my family. I’d just been to the vet with my cat and I stopped for petrol. While I was out of the car, it was stolen. Amanda said the car ended up in bush a long way away, which was exactly what happened. I loved that cat but never knew what happened to him, so it was amazing to hear he found another loving home.
