PULSE’S CLAIRE VAN DER BOOM REVEALS…

Aussie actress Claire van der Boom returns to our screens as Frankie Bell, who, after undergoing a kidney transplant, decidesecides to become a doctor in based-on-a-true-story medical drama Pulse.

Logie-winner Claire admits playing the role has given her a newfound respect for those working in the medicall profession.

“I really feel for anyone going through medical school because not only do you have to be extremely resilient,ilient, but malleable with your morals and beliefs, too. It can n be very confronting,” she tells Woman’s Day.

Outside acting, Claire – who is currently based in n Los Angeles – says she loves to explore the great outdoors, doors, and her Instagram feed is jam-packed full of pictures res taken on her worldwide adventures.

“Having grown up in the north west of Australia, , it’s really important I stay in touch with nature. I miss Australia all the time, but sometimes when I’m in Australia I start to miss California – I’m homesick no matter where I am!”
