Zigzag flooring

You’ll need natural cork floor tiles (30.5cm sq) white paint utility knife metal ruler

Work out how many square cork tiles you’ll need for the room, then paint half of them white and let them dry.

Create the zigzag pattern by cutting a triangle from each tile using the utility knife and ruler. The cuts need to be made from two corners to the exact centre of the square. Place the triangle at the end to make a rocket shape.

Fit the rocket shapes together in alternating brown and white colours to create the zigzag pattern.
