KNITTED VASE COVERS

You will need vintage knitted jumper; glass vase; dressmaker pins; needle; thread; scissors. ONE Place the arm of the jumper around the vase in the desired position. TWO If working with a small vase, pull knit taut and pin together excess so that the material is sitting neatly against the surface of the vase. Use a needle and thread to stitch together. Cut away excess material. THREE Carefully pull the material neatly together at the base of the vase and pin in place. Cut away any excess material. FOUR Use the needle and thread to sew edges together. You may need to cut away more excess knit to ensure the vase sits flat. TIP Knit scarves or beanies can also be used.
