Catwoman to wed again
Despite a catfight that ended in jail, Jocelyn and her man are set to wed
The world’s most famous divorcee is set to say “I do” for a second time, just months after she was arrested after a violent bust-up with her now-fiance Lloyd Klein in their New York apartment.
Famed US socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, who made headlines when she landed a record settlement of $2.5 billion after divorcing her first husband Alec Wildenstein in 1999, was reportedly thrilled when Lloyd presented her with a 32-carat diamond ring worth millions at the Versace Mansion in Miami last month.
While it’s not known how much the ring cost, it’s so expensive that Jocelyn, 71, has only worn it on a few special occasions. She also has two armed bodyguards to take the sparkler – which Lloyd designed himself – to a safe the minute she removes it from her finger.
News of a wedding for the pair has come as a shock to many, as their 14-year relationship appeared all but over last December.
Jocelyn, known as Catwoman thanks to her feline features – the result of millions of dollars’ worth of plastic surgery – was arrested for scratching and clawing Lloyd, 50, on the face and chest.
She alerted police to the drama herself, after Lloyd bundled her in a closet and she called authorities thinking she was trapped inside. Lloyd was later arrested too.
Now the pair appear to have put the past behind them.
Lloyd told the Daily Mail of the moment he proposed, “I showed Jocelyn the ring and she said ‘yes!’ – she was in heaven.”
