The diva is rocked as claims she sexually harassed her former bodyguard are made public
Mariah Carey is reeling as she joins a growing list of Hollywood A-listers currently accused of sexual harassment.
Not only that, but the singer is reportedly bracing herself for a potential lawsuit to defend a multitude of claims, including that she propositioned former security guard Michael Anello.
A draft of the lawsuit obtained by celebrity news site TMZ claims Mariah, 47, repeatedly “committed sexual acts with the intent that they be viewed by Anello”.
The documents also allegedly detail an incident in which she is claimed to have summoned Michael to her room to move some luggage. Michael’s lawyers say when he arrived Mariah greeted him wearing a see- through negligee, which was left hanging open.
And it’s not the only shocking accusation contained in the document. Michael, who owns the security firm Mariah employed from June 2015 to May 2017, claims he was continuously humiliated by his former employer who, he says, referred to him as a “Nazi” and “a white supremacist”.
“[Mariah] wanted to be surrounded with black guys, not white people,” the draft lawsuit claims.
The document also says Michael wants the singer to o make good on an allegedly unpaid invoice for $288,000. 0. He is also after another $665,000 for the remaining two years left on the security contract, which she e allegedly terminated early.
At the time Woman’s Day y went to print, the singer had d yet to comment on the allegations, but her reps confirmed to TMZ they have ve “no information” on the sexual harassment claim.
