Max’s struggle with trust and health issues

- AMANDA DE WARREN Australia’s top pet psychic

AMANDA SAYS Max tells me that he and Nicole have a joke with each other and she always tells him that he is “good value and that she got her money’s worth with him”.

Max also says Nicole always reminds him that he is getting old now and he jokingly tells her to shut up.

He tells me he has been with Nicole and family since he was a puppy and that he is about 13 years old now. He shows me a few ailments like a tumour on one back leg and the other is a bit shaky. Max also shows me that his eyesight is starting to fail, which Nicole suspected.

Although Max is not aggressive towards me, I suddenly feel him become very aggressive to almost all other people and other dogs. This aggression is not towards Nicole or her husband or two sons or her mother but everyone else will get a warning growl to back off.

Max shows me he was not like this until he was about six months old, and Nicole confirms it started around that age. Max shows me that he used to play with the birds and have fun, and even though he caught one once he let it go, and it was only a game. The neighbour thought Max needed to learn a lesson about chasing birds and even though Max trusted the neighbour, he began becoming physically abusive towards Max when Nicole and family were out.

Nicole had suspected this but could never prove it. Max has trusted no one from that point on. NICOLE SAYS I reached out to Amanda to try to work out if there was any underlying reason for Max’s hostility and aggressiveness. He’s become particularly rowdy lately, raising a ruckus wherever his paws take him! He’s also become unwell, so we wanted to get to the bottom of that, too.

To hear Max has been physically abused by our neighbour made Amanda the bearer of bad news. This was very hard to hear but affirmed our suspicions – we keep him inside when we’re not home for this reason. His total lack of trust makes sense now. We can’t blame him for it.

Max’s appreciation for everything we’re doing to help him get around with his deteriorating mobility and eyesight was amazing. I’m so happy with my reading with Amanda – it was great to hear from Max and tap into how he is feeling.
