ANGE MOVES ON… WITH A CAMBODIAN RAPPER!

-

More than a year after her explosive split from Brad, Angelina Jolie finally has a new man in her life – Cambodian-born rapper and filmmaker Prach Ly.

Sources tell Woman’s Day the “inseparable” pair were introduced by author Loung Ung, whose book First They

Killed My Father – about genocide in Cambodia under Pol Pot’s regime – was filmed by Angelina, 42, last year.

In recent months, 38-yearold Prach has not only been seen regularly visiting Angelina’s Los Angeles estate, but he also accompanied her and her six children around Cambodia Town in California’s Long Beach and hosted a special screening of Ange’s new film at the Cambodia Town Film Festival in September.

“Angelina and Prach have a special bond – they are perfect for each other,” says our source, adding that they connected over their mutual interests in Cambodian politics and charity opportunities.

Born in a concentration camp during the Cambodian genocide of the late 1970s, Prach fled to America with his family when he was a child. He later became a star in his birth country after a Cambodian DJ heard his CD on a visit to the US and took it back with him.

Angelina’s eldest son Maddox, who was born in Cambodia, has become one of the rapper’s biggest fans.

“Prach is a great role model for Maddox,” says our insider. “He can teach him about his homeland in a way Maddox can relate to, as both of them were born in Cambodia but didn’t grow up in the country.”

Maddox is also said to be impressed by Prach’s musical ability because he, too, wants to be a musician.

“Prach is taking him under his wing and Angelina couldn’t be happier about it.”
