Heath’s little girl is thrilled her mum has finally found love again and is tying the knot
Frolicking on the beach in the Bahamas, Matilda Ledger has never looked happier. Not only was she celebrating the holiday period, her mum Michelle Williams has found love again – and she’s heading for the altar! Michelle, 37, was glowing as she displayed her gorgeous diamond engagement ring from businessman Andrew Youmans who, as Woman’s Day revealed last July, she had been quietly dating for months. Watching proudly from her deckchair as Matilda and Andrew laughed together in the water on their family fami vacation, it’s clear the actress has fin finally found her happy ending 10 years y after the passing of Matilda’s Matild father Heath Ledger, who d died in January 2008.
She’s always made her daughter her first priority, and now friends feel it’s time Michelle found the lasting love she’s long dreamed of. And Matilda’s affection for her stepfather-to-be is obvious – the 12-year-old spent hours playing games and splashing around with Andrew at the beach.
While a wedding date is yet to be announced, there’s no doubt Matilda will play a huge part in any upcoming ceremony. Michelle is very proud of the young woman she’s raised – and she couldn’t look more like her famous dad.
“Not only are we OK, she’s happy,” Michelle recently said of her daughter, who was just two years old when her father passed away. “Life has brought us to a place that’s not just surviving, but thriving.”
