She has a figure anyone would kill for, but it’s been a long road to happiness for Married ied At First Sight bride Alycia Galbraith, who had to overcome her demons before she could make peace with her body.

“I used to get quite upset t about my appearance, but t I reached the epitome of self-love when we filmed the MAFS promo ad,” Alycia a – who’s shed an incredible e 30.5kg – tells Woman’s Day ay ahead of her TV debut.

“I had a weird and wonderful experience when en I saw my stunt double, and d couldn’t believe I looked like her,” she admits.

HEALTHY OVERHAUL

“I had this moment when I was thinking, ‘This girl is stunning,’ and suddenly years of physical and mental tal insecuriti­es I’d been suffering all of a sudden went away,” Alycia says.

The reality star says she u used to be terrified of fit p people. “But I’ve learned they’re the best kind of people... they care about others.”

Currently working as a freelance artist, Alycia – who now weighs 67kg – has maintained the healthy lifestyle she started all those years ago and now hopes to find love.

“Getting the chance to find true love is all I’ve ever wanted, and to find the right person through this experience will be life-changing,” she admits.

If her onscreen marriage fails, Alycia already has her sights set on another drastic transforma­tion.
