After bonding over their failed ‘marriages’, the couple are going from strength to strength
No one could believe it when Carly and Troy were spotted in a passionate embrace dur during a romantic park date –w – with their TV husband and wife nowhere in sight! B But now sources say thi things between the pair are getting really serious an and they’re totally in love. “You don’t have to be Ein Einstein to work out they be became close through their m mutual abandonment by th their respective partners Ju Justin and Ash,” explains ou our on-set insider. “They started getting fl flirtatious behind the sc scenes. Then, one day at th the apartments when th there was a break in fi filming, they disappeared w with each other for 20 m minutes. Everyone was going ‘Ooh la la’ about the fact they were probably hooking up,” explains the source, adding all the other contestants were in a state of shock.
“No one could believe lieve it when Carly got with Troy, as he’s such a practical joker. It’s hard to imagine them together.”
Woman’s Day is told since filming wrapped last year, their feelings have really escalated and the pair have split their time between Carly’s home in Melbourne and Troy’s home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
But friends worry the pair will struggle with the distance. “They’re still in love and still seeing each other, but it’s hard to imagine the relationship will be long-lasting because Troy is just so goofy,” our source adds.
However, the pair’s real-life couple swap – incredibly Justin and Ashley are said to have also started a relationship – hasn’t been without drama!
Some of the cast are upset they’ve spoiled the show’s ending by getting caught kissing.
Carly, however, is relieved about finding happiness with Troy, especially after being treated like a sister by her onscreen hubby Justin.
“He just kept rejecting her,” the source adds.
