An old friend’s pushing them to share their happy news with the world
After weeks of tiptoeing around, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are no longer keeping their rekindled romance a secret – and it’s all because their old friend George Clooney has encouraged them to come out of hiding!
“George has been their biggest supporter all along and loves that they’ve been seeing each other. He keeps telling them they should be singing it from the rooftops,” a source reveals.
“He also knows the Hollywood scene better than anyone, and wants to see this happy news come out on their terms.”
KEEPING IT PRIVATE
As Woman’s Day has previously reported, Brad, 54, and Jen, 49, first reconnected after his split from Angelina Jolie in late 2016, with the exes slowly getting their friendship back on track after more than a decade apart.
And when Jen’s two-year marriage to Justin Theroux, 46, fell apart in February this year, she was free to pursue a second chance with her first love Brad – though both were keen to keep their reunion as private as possible.
Now, fresh US reports say their buddy George, 56, helped them keep one of their most recent rendezvous under the radar. After a pre-oscars bash on March 3, Jen sent her bodyguard to pick up George and Brad and bring them back to her Bel Air mansion. But it seems three was a crowd on this particular night.
“The plan was to head over to Jen’s for a nightcap but, of course, George would just drop Brad off,” the source reveals.
And like the other low-key dates they’ve had since rekindling the flame, Jen’s night in with Brad, who she divorced in 2005, was filled with chemistry.
“They reminisced about the past and had a lot of laughs,” says the source. “It seemed just like old times, only better.” Another insider adds, “She took him on the grand tour of her place, and they talked a lot about what she’d done to it. “Brad was really impressed. It used to be him who was the expert on interior design, but she’s really developed an eye for it since they went their separate ways.”
NEW START
Since that night, the pair are rumoured to have been on a romantic getaway together, and are said to be enjoying regular cosy nights together at each other’s LA homes. “It’s a fresh start for both of them – the beginning of a new life together,” says our source. Now, with George encouraging them to admit to their other Hollywood friends and their millions of fans around the world that they’re in love once again, Jen and Brad are talking about how best to debut their romance – and the actress wants to do it the old-fashioned way.
“She’s planning a dinner for the two of them at Sunset Tower,” explains the source. “You’re not allowed to take pictures in there, but she can guarantee word of them being back together dining at her favourite LA haunt will get out within five minutes, and every photographer in town will be waiting to capture them leaving.
“They can’t keep this a secret for much longer, but they both feel ready to smile for the cameras and officially debut their love once more.”
