THE PRINCESS DIARIES

Everything you need to look as radiant as Meghan on her big day

-

No contouring, heavy foundation or beam of highlight to be seen – the new royal stuck to her signature natural beauty look, with the help of celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin. Here’s how you can recreate her look!

THE SKIN

With her hair pulled back into a tight chignon, Meghan’s skin took centrestage. Being a huge fan of facial oils meant her healthy complexion shone on the day. One of Meghan’s favourite oils is 1 Lumity Facial Oil $85. Apply in gentle rolling motions using the palms of your hand to press the oil into the skin.

THE GLOW

Meghan has admitted she doesn’t wear a ton of foundation and instead loves to accentuate her freckles. To get her

brightness, she layers 2 Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation

Primer $45 over her moisturiser and only wears foundation where needed. For the areas that do need a bit of extra coverage, she’s a fan of 3 Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat $70, especially under her eyes.

THE EYES

Proving you don’t need to spend ages blending, the duchess shows how using one shade all over the lid can still make a statement. A shadow palette like 4 Max Factor Smoky Eye Drama Kit in Onyx $20.95 is great to experiment with. Smudge Meghan’s favourite colour 5 M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Brownborder $35, along top and bottom lashlines for definition.

THE LASHES

Letting her lashes do the talking, Megan’s falsies looked fluttery but not heavy. If you find falsies fiddly, try 6 Ardell Magnetic Lashes, $24.99. Place either side of your top lashes. The magnets will hold them in place.
