SPEECHES

Prince William made a “naughty” speech that had guests in stitches – though our insider was sworn to secrecy on what was actually said. Prince Charles drew tears from guests during his speech, with one revealing he warmly welcomed Meghan and her mother Doria to the family, and ended it with “My darling old Harry, I’m so happy for you.”

GUESTS

George Clooney was the ultimate party animal, jumping behind the bar pouring shots of his Casamigos Tequila for everyone. He was later seen dancing with the bride, followed by the Duchess of Cambridge, but Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was overheard declining his offer to take her for a spin. James Corden sparked a dance-off between brothers Harry and William – no word on who was crowned the winner.

FARE

A cocktail called When Harry Met Meghan, containing rum and ginger ale, was served, in a nod to Harry’s red hair. Guests indulged in booze-themed Drinks of the World. Prince Charles paid for the sumptuous reception dinner, themed Spring Meets Summer.

TUNES

Speculatio­n Whitney Houston’s hit I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) would be the couple’s first-dance song turned out to be correct. “Thuds of loud music” could be heard throughout Frogmore House and Gardens until the wee hours.
