After the high of his Gold Logie win, Grant Denyer could be forgiven for thinking life couldn’t get any better. But the TV host has yet another reason to celebrate – he and his wife Cheryl, aka Chezzi, are expecting another baby!

While the pair are yet to publicly announce their happy news, Grant, 40, couldn’t resist dropping a big hint on the Logies red carpet when he pointed at his wife’s belly, before Chezzi admitted to Woman’s Day they were heading off on a romantic holiday to Mauritius to spend some quality time

together before their brood becomes even bigger!

“The girls would be great big sisters – they’re very keen for us to have another child. They’d love a little boy!” Chezzi revealed.

Meanwhile, Grant has also opened up about the lows of his battle with depression and drug addiction, revealing he spiralled into a dangerous addiction to prescription painkillers after a monster truck accident in 2008.

“It was a time where I didn’t really give a sh*t if I lived or died,” he said. “I felt like I had nothing to live for.”

But it was his daughter Sailor, now seven, who helped him heal. “I reckon if I didn’t have my daughter at that particular point I might not be here,” Grant, who’s also dad to daughter Scout, two, added.

But the popular presenter says his cherished wife was his true rock. “She was there to hold me up when I wasn’t so great,” Grant said. “She’s been incredibly supportive since we met. My Chezzi is amazing.”

Now it looks like Grant will be supporting Chezzi through their next amazing journey!
