Bec & Lleyton Why the couple are happy again

It started out as a second honeymoon but ended up an even more joyous celebration!

Wearing a heavy black leather jacket over her bright summer frock did little to hide Bec Hewitt’s growing b baby bump when she stepped out in W Wimbledon in the middle of a London h heatwave last week. “It’s the happiest I’ve seen her in a long, long time,” shares another tennis W WAG, who says Bec hasn’t stopped s smiling since she arrived in London. ““She seems like a different person, she’s b been laughing a lot.” It’s a huge transformation for the former f Home And Away star, who last month m was seen fighting with husband Lleyton L in the streets of Melbourne, sparking fears her rollercoaster relationship was again on the rocks. “I think Lleyton knew he had to do something special, and he’s pulled

out all the stops to make sure Bec has the best fortnight ever. They’re staying in the same ritzy house they’ve rented for years when in London, and she absolutely loves the shops in the city,” adds our source.

“He may not be playing singles any more but, as a tournament winner, Lleyton will forever have top-notch status and this gloss, of course, transfers to his partner. So Bec quite literally gets treated like a queen. It’s pretty much a second honeymoon.”

What the couple didn’t expect when they were planning the incredible family holiday is that Bec would break the news she’s been waiting years for – she’s expecting a little brother or sister for Mia, 12, Cruz, nine and Ava, seven.

“Bec’s been wanting this baby for a long time, but for the past few years Lleyton has shut her down when she’s raised it. He felt three was enough, and that an even bigger

family would be too much pressure on both of them,” reveals one of Bec’s girlfriends.

“But she’s never given up on the dream of a fourth baby – and Lleyton does feel guilty that she’s found it so hard to settle down in Melbourne, where she still feels lonely and isolated because her friends and family are all in Sydney.”

Bec, 34, is understood to have broken the news to Lleyton, 37, just before they flew to London with the kids for their amazing holiday. Now he’s surprised her with just how supportive he’s been, showering her with gifts and paying attention to her whenever his tennis commitments allow.

“He seems to have come to terms with having an even bigger family,” reveals a tennis buddy, adding that Lleyton is a great dad but has always worried he just doesn’t have enough time to be the best dad he can be.

“He has a very special bond with Cruz, and the girls adore him even if they spend most of their time with Bec. He also realises there’s never going to be a better time than now. Their kids are at an age where they can help, and he really wants Bec to be happy.”
