NING’S HEARTACHE: ‘ I COULDN’T GO TO MY SON’S BIRTHDAY PARTY!’

-

She’s the sharp-tongued mother-of-three whose fiery attitude and blunt sense of humour is making things difficult for her and husband Mark to connect, but speaking to Woman’s Day a softer side to Ning is revealed.

Opening up about her children, Ning tells how difficult it was to miss her youngest son’s birthday due to filming obligations.

“I missed out on him turning four to be on the show... it was tough!” she says. “We were filming, so we had to FaceTime on his birthday. I sent him presents though – one was an electrical car he could drive around.”

The 32-year-old Townsvillian admits it was also hard dealing with participants who were there for ulterior motives, such as instant celebrity.

“People are there doing it for the fame, people will see it, but I’m here for love,” she adds. “I’ve scarified enough!”
