THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE

Here H are four thoughtful ful gifts you can give your Valentine ne – and they don’t cost a cent! t!

Write a love letter er

You don’t have to be a Pulitzer Prize-winning e-winning author to pen a heartfelt love letter. It doesn’t t need to be perfect – after all, it’s the thought that counts. So think of all the things about your partner that make you smile and write them down. You could start with “I love the way you...” or “These are the things I love most about you...”.

Make IOU cards

Think of some romantic – or cheeky! – things your loved one would appreciate. Perhaps it’s a homecooked meal, a movie night or a bedtime massage. Write each idea on a card titled “IOU” for them to redeem whenever they like. Now, that’s a gift that keeps on giving!

Date night jar

Similar to IOUs, come up with a bunch of fun or romantic date-night ideas for you and your partner and jot each one down on separate cards. Pop them into a jar and tie it with a ribbon for a sweet and simple present!

Create a ‘Valen-timeline’

Take a little trip down memory lane with your love! Think of all the special moments throughout your relationship and create a timeline using images to illustrate them. You could also write down a little note about how special that particular moment or event was to you.
