The star turned to her daughter’s famous dad to make her dream of a second baby come true
Radio host Fifi Box is brimming over with excitement after announcing she’s three months pregnant with a baby brother or sister for her five-yearold daughter, Trixie Belle, as she shares her wonderful pregnancy journey with fans.
But once again she’s staying mum on the identity of the father, as she did for years after Trixie was born, announcing that she’s “over the moon” after conceiving with the help of an IVF specialist, while keeping the “sperm donor’s” identity secret.
‘ANONYMOUS DONOR’
Fifi, 41, eventually did confirm Grant was Trixie’s father, and close friends of the ironman revealed last week they all firmly believe he is the “anonymous donor” who made the presenter’s IVF pregnancy possible. “Even Grant’s ex-wife Lisa [Curry] doesn’t really believe the news about an anonymous sperm donor, and suspects Grant is the father,” revealed one of his close mates, who says the ironman never opens up about his arrangement with Fifi. “Lisa is convinced and has said, ‘Let’s wait and see because Grant’s genes are very strong and you only have to look at Trixie to see she is the image of him.’
“It’s no secret Lisa’s still very jealous of Fifi, and the bond she now has with their other children.” The reason Fifi kept Trixie’s dad a secret for three years was because she and Grant, 55, had a pact to never publicly discuss his involvement, and friends suspect this is once again the case as Grant is very private about his life.
‘Grant and Fifi are still close and she looks to him for advice’
“Grant’s the best dad in the world, and he just loves kids, so no matter what he will always be there for Trixie, and I’m sure he’ll be just as supportive this time around,” says the friend. “He and Fifi are still very close and she looks to him for advice. It’s an unusual relationship, but it works.”
