The ‘Target Boys’ are looking for love

They were swarmed by eager crowds of women while visiting Bali’s Kuta Beach, but for Travel Guides’ Kevin, 25, Teng, 21, and Dorian, 20, their real life love affairs are anything but exciting. The trio are “hopelessly single” and chatting to Woman’s Day, the boys open up about their romance woes and even reveal their dreams of heading down the aisle.

These days there’s a lot of pressure to organise the perfect date. What would yours look like?

KEVIN We’re lying on a couch, sharing a blanket. My favourite movie Juno is on, and we’re both reciting the movie line for line. We look at each other and realise we’re soulmates. The rest as they say is history.

What’s the most romantic date you’ve ever organised?

DORIAN The most romantic thing I’ve done for a partner would be organising a surprise birthday trip to the Gold Coast.

If the opportunity arose would you ever pursue a romantic relationship with a Travel Guides cast member?

TENG Considering everyone in the cast is in a relationship besides us and Johno I would have to say no… however if they cast three equally as cool and kind of weird girls I think we would all much rather travel to all these destinations tripledating than stuck with each other for the few months!

Given your single status, could we ever expect to see you pop up on Married At First Sight?

KEVIN I’ve sent in my application multiple times for MAFS,

unfortunately I’ve been banned for being too enthusiastic.

TENG I would definitely head on MAFS to find love! I mean it’s a guaranteed marriage, I can’t see what could go wrong. I feel like my personality makes up for my head situation so it will be a not so romantic meeting, but a romantic ending.

DORIAN Personally I’d never go on MAFS! The thought of an overly dramatic TV wedding to a complete stranger is pretty ridiculous and I don’t think you’d form a genuine relationship in among all that drama and the cameras. The dating shows are best left to be a trashy guilty pleasure in my opinion.
