‘She’s just absolute heaven!’

The proud single mum adds another girl to the gang

She was candid about her challenging second pregnancy, revealing severe morning sickness had left her “debilitated by nausea, bedridden and at times hospitalised”. But last week, all that was forgotten when Fifi Box held her newborn daughter in her arms for the first time.

With her six-year-old daughter Trixie by her side for the birth, the radio star, 42, was clearly on cloud nine to welcome another girl to the family, calling her co-hosts Brendan Fevola and Byron Cooke to gush about the new addition.

“We’ve had a beautiful girl, and she’s just absolute heaven,” Fifi said on air. “Trixie and I are just deliriously, hopelessly in love with her.”

The excited second-time mother was also quick to make the baby news Instagram official, revealing her new daughter’s name with sweet pictures of the newborn and Trixie cuddling her.

“Welcome to the world our beautiful little sweetheart Daisy Belle Box!! And just like that our perfect little family became a whole lot ‘perfecter’,” she wrote.

“Trixie and I are so hopelessly in love with Daisy, we can’t wait to build our future with her, I am the luckiest mumma to be blessed with these two precious angels.”

Congratulations soon came pouring in from her celebrity circle, with good friend Carrie Bickmore writing, “Best news ever my lovely xxx” and radio presenter Jackie O gushing, “Three beautiful girls, so happy for you, Fifi.”

When she announced her surprise pregnancy in February, the single mum revealed she’d been through an emotional battle with IVF, eventually falling pregnant with an anonymous donor. However, close friends of her former partner Grant Kenny – who is Trixie’s dad – have told Woman’s Day they believe he’s also the father of her newborn baby sister.

Meanwhile, after months of preparing Trixie for the task of being a big sister, Fifi says her eldest is simply smitten with her new sibling.

‘Our perfect little family became a whole lot “perfecter”’

“[Daisy] came into the world yesterday morning at about 8.30am, and I didn’t get to hold her again until about midday. Trixie held her for four hours and wouldn’t let her go!” says Fifi.

The proud mum even gave her first-born the privilege of naming the bub, who shares the same middle name as Trixie.

“I never had a say in the name,” says Fifi. “Daisy was on my list, but Trixie decided when she found out I was going to have a baby that it’d be called Daisy. I just let it go – then I realised that for seven months she’s been calling her little sister Daisy, and there’s no going back then!”
