The Voice Kelly’s out, Christina’s in!

There’s a Dirrty shake-up coming to the coaches’ line-up

With The Voice finals upon us, the race to the finish line is heating up between contestants and coaches alike. But with a win already up her sleeve, it appears hit-maker Kelly Rowland could be gearing up to leave the show entirely – to make way for pop diva Christina Aguilera!

A well-placed insider tells Woman's Day Us-based singer Kelly, 38, is looking to focus more on her family and her own music career in 2020.

The rumours come just months after the Destiny’s Child singer released The Kelly Rowland Edition, her first musical project since 2013.

There’s no denying Kelly’s had a good run on the show, with her team member, looping artist Sam Perry, taking out The Voice crown in 2018.

FEELING CLUCKY

Fuelling speculation she’s ready to swing her chair around for the last time, Kelly said she’s eager to give her four-year-old son Titan a sibling, revealing, “I am itching to have another child. It’s really important to me.”

But as one pop queen bows out, another is set to step in, with the show’s crew apparently eyeing up 38-year-old megastar Christina for the gig.

The Beautiful singer was a coach on the show’s US version between 2011 and 2016, but quit after admitting she felt disconnected with the American production’s approach.

VOICE COMEBACK

“I saw blatant things that I didn’t think were OK and that I’m sure no one would want to put up with in a work environment,” Christina said. “It was important for me to step away.”

But four years, a Las Vegas residency and a hit album later, the mother-of-two is said to be keen to give The Voice gig another go, this time in Australia.

“Her Vegas work ends later this year, so joining the show here is definitely on the table,” says an insider.

“She loves the show, but will be looking to do things a little differently to how they were done over there.”
