The Denyers spark rumours they’re saying ‘I do’ all over again
Having scored himself the coveted Gold Logie this time last year, Grant Denyer looked noticeably relaxed as he walked the TV WEEK Logie Awards red carpet with his wife Cheryl by his side. The couple appeared to be in high spirits as they chatted to fans, with an onlooker telling Woman’s Day, “They looked happier than ever.”
Their jovial appearance comes just days after Chezzi, 39, stirred rumours they could be planning a lavish vow renewal ceremony for their upcoming 10th wedding anniversary, after she was spotted trying on a stunning wedding dress at Sydney designer Mary Ioannidis’ boutique store.
According to the designer’s website, Mary has been “making waves in the bridal industry for
more than 24 years”, and with TV queen Amanda Keller also donning her designs at back-to-back Logies, it’s no wonder Chezzi has taken a liking to the skilled bridal designer.
The mum-of-two wore a green Ioannidis creation to TV’S night of nights, but she’s yet to step out in the stunning white gown she was seen trying on just days earlier.
In February, the couple will celebrate a decade of marriage, having tied the knot in a tropicalstyle ceremony at Hamilton Island’s Qualia resort in 2010. And there’s every chance they could renew their vows at the same spot for sentimental reasons – this time they will have their daughters Sailor, eight, and Scout, three, by their side!
“I remember crying like a baby when you walked down the aisle. [There’s been] a lot of magical moments and yes, a couple of hard times along the way that I couldn’t have survived without your love & joy for life,” wrote Chezzi in an emotional Instagram post last year. “I am truly lucky to call you mine.”
Since their wedding, the pair have remained inseparable, despite facing several hurdles. In 2008, the Celebrity Name Game host, 41, was hospitalised after a monster truck accident. He later revealed that an addiction to painkillers almost ruined him.
