MINI ROYALS’ DAY OUT AT THE POLO

Kate and Meghan stepped out with their little ones for their first public play date together

It was the moment royal fans have been eagerly waiting for – adorable snaps of baby Archie on his first day out with his royal cousins. And their appearance at a charity polo match in England late last week didn’t disappoint, with the gorgeous two-monthold, who so resembles his dad, Prince Harry, ensconced in his mother’s arms while cheeky cousins Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four, and an energetic one-year-old Prince Louis looked on.

But while the Cambridge and Sussex children appeared to be having the time of their lives, the same couldn’t be said for their mothers, Kate and Meghan, both 37.

In fact, a well-placed source tells Woman’s Day that the joint appearance of the two duchesses was enforced by the

palace as a way to rebuff all the negative publicity their rumoured feud has been drawing for several months.

But, says the insider, “While Meghan might be an actress, Kate absolutely is not. She couldn’t hide the fact she and Meghan do not get on. She was focused on the kids – she’s such an attentive mother – but it was clear she and Meghan barely interacted or said a word to each other.”

While the two not-so merry wives of Windsor are clearly still frosty, it didn’t stop them from supporting their husbands, brothers William and Harry.

“Harry made everyone weak at the knees over how he dotes on Meghan and Archie,” says an onlooker.

“He is every inch as besotted with his little family as he was the day his son was born.”
