Nicole warned: ‘YOUR KIDS NEED YOUR HELP’

The actress is caught up in a new Scientology nightmare

-

Aformer high-ranked Scientologist has been moved to speak out after seeing Nicole Kidman’s estranged daughter Bella Cruise being used as a “poster girl” for the controversial church.

In a candid new interview, which is sure to chill Nicole, 52, to the core, Sam Domingo, who was a Scientologist for 22 years, reveals how her children used to play with Bella, now 26, and

Connor, 24, at the LA Scientology Celebrity Center.

Sam, who was married to Spanish singer Placido Domingo’s son, claims after their dad Tom Cruise divorced Nicole in 2001, a young Bella and Connor were forced into an isolated “boot camp” experience and were “indoctrinated to hate” their adoptive mother.

“I know what techniques they used… the second-in-command at the time was so tough on them, the Cruise kids had no choice,” Sam told Daily Mail last week. “After the divorce, they were indoctrinated into Scientology and very much isolated.”

She adds that Tom’s three sisters – who she became close to during her time with the church

– were also dragged into the religion.

“You can’t be anti-scientology if you’re part of Tom’s family,” Sam says. “You will be disconnected. Look at his daughter Suri [with his ex-wife Katie Holmes].”

RESPECT FOR TOM

Sam, 51, insists she kept her mouth shut about the treatment of Nicole’s kids even after leaving the church “out of respect for Tom”, but felt compelled to speak out when Bella appeared as the face of Scientology promotional material earlier this year, declaring the church had helped her “find a missing piece” of herself. “[When they] started using Isabella, I felt sorry for that kid,” Sam says. While a spokesman for Scientology denies the claims, they’re still words that Nicole – who now has two daughters with husband of 13 years Keith Urban – has dreaded hearing.

A source tells Woman’s Day, “Nic always hoped against hope Bella and Connor chose to go with their dad of their own accord. As much as it broke her heart, she wanted to allow them to make their own choices.

“But to read in the news that they were basically brainwashed into cutting her from their lives and devoting their lives to a religion that ruined her marriage and stole her kids – well, that’s another thing altogether.

“The problem is they’re adults now, so there is nothing she can do legally. She just hopes one day they realise what’s happened and come back to her. She’d accept them, no questions asked.”

TIED TO THE CHURCH

Bella lives with her husband Max Parker in England and attends the church’s London HQ regularly and is a fully trained “auditor” – a type of psychological counsellor for parishioners.

Connor is even closer to the heart of the church, living in their luxurious resort compound just minutes from their global HQ in Clearwater, Florida, where he moonlights as a charter-boat skipper and fisherman.
