How many man seasons of The have hav you done now?

Block

This makemakes 11 seasons! The Block is ssuch a wonderful concept – it’s got something for everyeverybody. It’s a wonderful wonderf show that the family cacan all watch together... together plenty of action, drama, rreality, fun and, of courscourse, renovation.

Is it true that this year’s build is the t trickiest yet?

Yes, truetrue! Twice the size of the Gatwgatwick and twice as ugly. Ththese contestants have a seriously tough job ahead of them. Not only to restrestore her to her former glory, but within budget and the time frame, all while being pushed to their personal limits and beyond.

You and co-host Scotty Cam have an amazing dynamic. Are you friends outside work?

I’ve worked with Scotty for 11 years now across a few different formats and shows. We’ve watched each other’s kids grow up, [and] we’ve shared some really incredible and emotional experiences through The Block. I would happily have a barbie and a beer anytime with Scott Cam! We live in different states, so catching up out of season doesn’t really happen. Perhaps he needs as much of a break from me as the show!

How do you juggle everything you’ve got on the boil?

I love being busy, I love working, I love being a mum. I’m one of the lucky ones.

What do your kids think about seeing their mum on the TV?

They enjoy the show for sure. All kids seem to. To see me on the telly is what they’ve grown up with. Milla is ready to take over from me, that’s for sure.

Would you ever relocate south again, or is Byron Bay home for you now?

Byron is definitely home. My “forever for now” home. I never say never, but we have been in Byron for 10 years, which is the longest I have lived in any city or town since I left school.

What’s been your favourite season of

The Block? Oooh, tough one! Each and every series has given me so much personally. Each build and each set of contestants have taught me so much. Each auction day has challenged me. I do believe the show just gets better and better! This series could well be my favourite!
