EPSTEIN ACCUSER SPEAKS OUT: ‘ANDREW KNOWS WHAT HE’S DONE!’
Epstein victim issues a challenge to the embattled royal to ‘come clean’
Things have gone from bad to worse for Prince Andrew, who’s under fire for his close friendship with known paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in a Manhattan jail last month.
Now Virginia Roberts, who claimed in court documents she was forced by Epstein to have sex with the duke at just 17 – which has strongly been denied by Andrew – has spoken out. She joined dozens of other Epstein accusers and fronted US District Court in New York last week, testifying before the case is dismissed as a result of Epstein’s death.
“He knows exactly what he’s done, and I hope he comes clean about it,” Virginia, now 35, said when asked about Andrew.
Just days earlier in an unprecedented statement released by Buckingham
Palace, Andrew, who still strongly denies the claims he slept with Virginia, said of Epstein: “I am eager to clarify the facts to avoid further speculation. I have stayed in a number of his residences. During the time I knew him, I saw him infrequently and probably no more than once or twice a year. At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness, or suspect any of the behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction. I have said previously that it was a mistake and an error to see him after his release in 2010 and I can only reiterate my regret that I was mistaken to think that what I thought I knew of him was evidently not the real person, given what we know now.”
In true form, the British press immediately questioned Andrew’s statement.
