TOM & CONNOR’S SECRET TRIP... TO VISIT PREGNANT BELLA!
The Hollywood hero is going to be a granddad
As rumours swirl that Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s daughter Bella is expecting her first child, her younger brother Connor has paid a surprise visit to her adopted UK hometown along with their famous father.
Tom, 57, and Connor, 24, who both live in Clearwater, Florida, were seen boarding a chopper in London, and friends speculate they were visiting Bella under a shroud of secrecy to help keep her baby news under wraps.
“Bella lives about an hour out of London and if she is pregnant, she wouldn’t want the paparazzi to follow Tom’s car to her place,” says a source. “She hates being photographed. Tom is obsessed with security, too.”
Those close to Bella, 26, who lives in Croyden with her hubby of four years Max Parker, were surprised Connor was back so soon after he had already visited her in England in March.
Bella was also spotted in Clearwater in August, prompting speculation she was in town to break the news of her pregnancy to her dad and brother in person.
“Connor is super close with Bella and has been saying ever since she got married he can’t wait to be an uncle. He dotes on her and made such an effort to make sure she was comfortable when she was in Clearwater,” says our source, who adds that something big must be happening for the trio to reunite.
‘SOMETHING SPECIAL’
“Even though Connor and Tom live pretty much next door to each other, family trips are rare because Tom is often off filming. So for them to travel to the UK together, there must be something special going on. Tom certainly looked excited.”
While Tom is very close to Bella, it’s believed neither he nor his ex-wife were invited to her and It-expert Max’s wedding. Indeed, devout Scientologists Bella and Connor are estranged from their mother, who recently admitted she respects her older children’s decision to remain loyal to the church.
“Bella and Tom are pretty tight, though. They don’t see each other often, but he would be thrilled if she were pregnant,” says our source. “Welcoming his first grandchild and being there for Bella through her pregnancy as much as he can is something he certainly wouldn’t want to miss out on, especially given it’s unlikely she’ll have her mum there to guide her through it.
“Tom has made it very clear he will provide her and her family with whatever she wants.”
