MEET BRAD’S NEW GIRLFRIEND!
Late last week, the internet erupted with talk that Brad Pitt is dating indie actress Alia Shawkat – and now Woman’s Day can confirm the pair have been seeing each other for more than three months.
“Alia’s already met his parents,” a source close to Brad’s mum and dad Jane and Bill Pitt tells.
“There was a big hullabaloo about him coming home [to Springfield, Missouri] at Halloween last month, and word is he snuck Alia in on a separate private plane.
“Brad’s parents are very conservative folk so bringing such a quirky girlfriend home could have gone either way, but it seems they liked her.”
According to our sources, Brad met the 30-year-old, best known for her role in Arrested Development, through mutual contacts in the LA art scene, where Brad, 55, has been learning sculpting as a way of coping with his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
Brad and Alia attended an art event together last weekend before being spotted at a restaurant dining alone. She is believed to be the mystery woman by his side in a blurry image snapped by paparazzi in September.
“Alia is a cool, calm and collected young woman who would be completely unfazed by Brad’s level of celebrity,” says a source close to the actor. “She’s exactly what he went looking for after his train wreck of a marriage was finally over.”
