Forget charity work – Princess Beatrice could be about to start a whole new career in showbiz! Her friend popstar Ellie Goulding was on Michael Mcintyre’s Big Show when he took control of her phone and texted all her contacts asking for song inspiration and Bea responded in poetic form. “My dearest friend I love so dearly. I feel so lucky, I adore this girl so clearly. From wedding chats to Saturday evening,

I adore this lady with every feeling. There truly isn’t a time that our friendship could equal a rhyme,” Beatrice, 31, wrote, referencing talking to Ellie about her upcoming nuptials to Edo Mozzi. Could 2020 be the year for a royal pop collab?!

For any child, royal or otherwise, Christmas is traditionally a chance to bond with family, forming life-long friendships with cousins.

Sadly for Prince George, six, he was denied the chance to take his youngest relative Archie Mountbatten-windsor under his wing, after the seven-monthold’s parents Prince Harry, 35, and Duchess Meghan, 38, whisked him off on a mystery holiday instead of attending family Christmas celebrations.

“George is old enough to understand the concept of cousins,” says our palace insider, adding that George “dotes on” 14-month-old Arthur – the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa and James Matthews’ son.

“Having Arthur around all the time has only piqued George’s interest in Archie further,” says our source.

“All December he kept talking about Christmas with Archie – he’s been quite fixated on him, even though Kate and Prince William gently reminded him that Archie

wasn’t going to be around. George was looking for him at the Queen’s Christmas lunch, it was heartbreaking to see.”

It’s believed George has only met Archie – whose parents are rumoured to be feuding with Kate and William, both 37 – twice, once as a newborn at

Frogmore Cottage, and again at the official Trooping the Colour celebration and parade in July.

“It’s a real shame George hasn’t been able to bond with Archie. He and Charlotte even had a present to give their little cousin,” says the source.
